Abstract
In a previous paper of this book E. Hlawka proves a discrete analogon — involving uniformly distributed sequences — of the Lemma of Du Bois-Reymond, which is often used in variational calculus. In the present note a generalization of Hlawka’s result to higher dimensions is given.
