Abstract

A comprehensive instrument, available in printed form and as software, has been developed to evaluate courseware in the area of professional training and retraining of adults. This evaluation tool serves persons interested in everything having to do with training courseware. It helps the developer improve his product, makes the selection when buying easier for the user or trainer, and is especially useful for the dealer when deciding whether to add the product to his collection. The instrument has a catalogue of 300 questions to be answered with Yes or No. The user, however, does not have to answer all the questions. The user can prepare his/her own question frame which suits his/her own personal interests. The instrument helps by selecting the questions relevant for the user by acting quasi as a filter through the three hierarchical levels.
