Abstract

The analogue of axial gauges where Lorentz invariance is broken are supersymmetric gauge-theories with breaking of supersymmetry. The Wess-Zumino gauge is the most celebrated example. Nevertheless, the full superfield formalism may be retained — just as Lorentz covariance can be made to persist formally in ordinary axial gauges.
