Abstract
A survey of the salient features is presented for some recent experiments on archetypal spin-glass systems. Here we include four dynamical, and mainly zero field techniques, namely the frequency dependence of the ac susceptibility, neutron scattering, muon spin rotation and relaxation, and ultrasonic propagation. We also consider some field dependent investigations such as M(H), X(H) and the ESR all of which require an associated anisotropy. A critical review of the different interpretations is given for these experiments and a percolation model is introduced and offered as a possible way to resolve the various and conflicting interpretations.
