Nuclear magnetization density from electron scattering

Abstract

Experimental form factors for electron scattering from ground state magnetization distributions allow the determination of magnetic muztipoze moments and of radii of valence nucleon orbits. Recently obtained data are compared with theoretical predictions, which comprise Coulomb distortion, Woods-Saxon wave functions, configuration mixing and meson exchange currents.
