Abstract
Based on the regional and local seismic networks, especially the temporary mobile seismic stations deployed in the epicentral region, the aftershock sequence of the Lushan earthquake was well constrained. ETAS model was applied to the analysis of the aftershock activity, approaching to the seismological information service facilitating the rescue and relief actions as well as the scientific investigation of the earthquake.

Notes
- 1.
Note that in Eq. (4.1), the cutoff magnitude M 0 is for the ETAS calculation, and here the cutoff magnitude Mc is based on the monitoring capability of a seismic network. Generally M 0 has to be higher than or equal to Mc. But in some cases, assuming that the above mentioned concept is clear, the differentiation of these two cutoff magnitudes is not purposely specified.
