Abstracts
In the process of CBM drainage and pressure relief, on the one hand, as fluid pressure decreases, CBM will be desorbed from coal matrix, resulting in shrinkage of coal matrix and enlargement of pores and fractures, and accordingly increasing permeability; on the other hand, as fluid pressure decrease, effective stress will increases, pore and fractures will close and permeability will reduce.
