Abstract
The review paper aims at the ‘Impact of Water Pollution on Endemic Species’. This paper is an attempt to explain the reasons due to which species are getting endemic as a result of changes caused in their organs. The main cause is anthropogenic activities. This paper tells us how the human activities and exposure of toxicants causing harm to these kinds of species directly and indirectly results into negative consequences for the aquatic organisms through changes in their cells towards the population of the species. The endemic species ‘Dawkinsia Tambraparniei’ are found near the areas of River Tamiraparani (Dahanukar 2015). These types of species are under a great threat due to man-made activities which are increasing day by day. To identify this type of crisis of the species, it is observed by testing from the five different pollutant locations of the river. There are examinations that are taken out from the internal organs such as the brain, gill, heart, kidney and liver. Most of the organs of the fish damages are highly observed in Kokkirakulam and Vannarapettai areas. The species have same genus but they have different subspecies also. The important measures are taken to save the endemic species. Continuous effective steps in inhabited zones are also taken.
