Abstract

An environmentally friendly solution for underground discharge of coal mine wastes is to place these wastes into underground mined-out areas. Generally, the wastes are made into solid backfill or fluid backfill, being delivered underground through belts or pipelines. The technological processes for both the solid backfill mining technology and fluid backfill mining method are introduced.
