Abstract
The network layer is the most important layer in Internet of Things communication; it operates the data forwarding and routing mainly. The routing algorithm is a hotspot for network layer research. This chapter introduces, firstly, two of the classic routing algorithms: geographical routing and directed diffusion routing, and their simulations, and, secondly, the ZigBee protocol simulation.
