Abstract

Smart Grid aims to provide grid stability, balance supply & demand, ensure reliability of power supply and enable greater integration of diverse generators & consumers. To enable these objectives, amongst others, use of Artificial Intelligence techniques plays a pivotal role. This paper gives a brief about the various applications of AI for successful implementation of Smart Grid. It also highlights the features of various AI techniques and their relevance in the emerging power eco-system.
