Abstract
H&E-stained histopathological image of the area of interest is shown in Fig. 10.3a. The parts marked with red arrows are the two pinholes designating the area of interest. The blue square when magnified showed enlarged nuclei of the tumor cells in the full thickness of the epithelium, with partial invasion of the submucosal layer, diagnosing the lesion as SCC, with invasion depth of T1a-LPM (Fig. 10.3b).
