Abstract
The precision of modeling for leaf spring plays an important role in the vehicle dynamic simulation. By using the Adams software, this paper builds a discrete-link leaf spring in the vehicle dynamic model, and carries out dynamic simulations for two typical load cases. The numerical results indicate that the presented leaf spring modeling scheme achieves much more precision than classical methods and can be used in designing and testing for vehicle performance.
