Abstract

Endobronchial Watanabe spigot is a cork-shaped silicone bronchial blocker that was originally developed by Watanabe et al. It is easy to insert and remove with the use of flexible bronchoscope and simple grasping forceps. Comprehensive identification of the affected bronchus should be carried out by various methods. In difficult cases, it is important not to give up because various techniques can be employed in inserting the bronchial blocker.
