Abstract

In the present thesis, we utilized archive data of the 5th Japanese X-ray astronomical satellite Suzaku, which was launched 2005 from Kagoshima. It consists of the X-ray Telescopes (XRT), the X-ray Spectrometer (XRS), the X-ray Imaging Spectrometer (XIS) and Hard X-ray Detector (HXD). The XIS covers 0.3–12 keV by utilizing X-ray CCD cameras combined with the X-ray Telescopes which focus X-ray by total reflection. The HXD covers 10–600 keV with high sensitivity by silicon PIN semi-conductor detectors and GSO scintillators, surrounded an active shield composed of BGO scintillators. The 0.3–600 keV simultaneous coverage with high sensitivity of Suzaku is imperative to examine spectral and timing properties of primary X-rays from active galactic nuclei.
