Abstract

This chapter models the underpinning theories of the study. It links the problem under investigation to previous research in the form of a theoretical framework. Within the context of the study, it chronologically discusses the different models toward the eventual formulation of the quality management assessment matrix (QMAM) that fills the theoretical gap identified.
