Abstract

The present investigation is an attempt to represent status of the watershed with the help of an indicator so that climatic impact on watersheds can be adjudged both cognitively and objectively. Although the study showed reliability and encouraged the present authors for further applications, few limitations were also identified. The importance of the parameter will change with changing of MCDM method and also the temporal variation of the parameters were ignored. This two limitations can be overcome by the introduction of uniformity while rating the watersheds. The temporal variations can be removed by the introduction of some time parameters in the objective function.
