Abstract
During test and production in the deepwater gas well, the well flow mostly tends to be annular-mist flow with continuous gas phase and dispersed liquid phase. For the free water in the system, it is mainly in the form of liquid film on pipewall and droplet in the gas core, which could both form the solid hydrate at high pressure and low temperature. Moreover, the gas-liquid two-phase flow would be transformed into the gas-liquid-solid three-phase flow in well/pipeline owing to hydrate formation. As the continuous hydrates deposition, the gas-solid two-phase flow, and water-saturated gas single-phase flow appear [1, 2]. With hydrate formation and deposition, the flow patterns evolution in the vertical and horizontal pipeline are shown respectively.
