Abstract
For prehistoric mythology about totems and ancestors, we try to show to the public what has been proven by the latest discoveries. In the past, if we were to discuss Yao and Shun, we were limited to the two emperors only. Today, to discuss Yao and Shun, we have to rely on three most reliable archaeological sites: Taosi, Shimao and Lajia. They are all archaeological discoveries of major significance over the past two decades.
