Predictors of Diabetic Foot Syndrome

Abstract

In the above chapters, we have understood the entire pathogenesis and etiological factors consisting of neurological, vascular, musculoskeletal, and biomechanical variables. The prediction of diabetic foot syndrome using all these variables could be clinically very helpful. However, no such information is available for the Indian population. In the given context, we have proposed a regression model while assessing a larger pool of variables which could be used to predict the fate of diabetic foot syndrome clinically and thus prevent further complications including amputation. Let us identify all those factors in this chapter.
