Abstract

To solve the problem of vibration and noise of high-power motor, LRC filter is usually added at the output of large-capacity inverters to reduce the harmonic content of the output voltage, so the selection of cut-off frequency of the filter is particularly important. If the cut-off frequency of the filter is not designed properly, the output filter resonance will damage the filter, which affects the stability and reliability of the whole power system. In this paper, a kind of LRC filter is designed, fully considering the factors such as volume, weight and filtering characteristics. The fundamental reason for resonance is analyzed theoretically from the aspect of modulation and control. A criterion is proposed for designing cut-off frequency parameters. The criterion has a certain guidance and reference for the design and use of the filter.
