Abstract
Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is the assembly of communication endpoints but without any basic facilities. These mobile nodes must be connected through a particular routing protocol. Dynamic Source Routing and ad hoc on-demand distance vector routing algorithms are mostly used Reactive routing algorithms which can connect the mobile nodes efficiently. MANET is exposed to so many attacks among which Wormhole attack is very much complicated, where an identical tunnel is created by attackers. In this paper, we have used Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) Correlation technique on both routing protocols AODV and DSR and modified them. Then, we have computed Packet Delivery Fraction (PDF), caused by Wormhole attack, with our modified routing algorithms and make a comparative study between them. Modified DSR is proved to give better results with our algorithm. The relation between packets dropped and packets sent is also estimated using regression analysis and accuracy is calculated. MATLAB simulator is used here to do the simulation.
