Abstract
This chapter reviews some of the policy measures taken by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) to generate employment opportunities for youth. The National Youth Policy (NYP) 2017 is reviewed, and its text is analysed using a simple bag of words model. Other government documents such as the 7th Five Year Plan (7FYP) of Bangladesh are also reviewed with a focus on youth. Some brief discussion on budget allocation for youth is included.
