Abstract

The traditional empirical researches on the relationship between teaching and scientific research has been trapped in a dilemma in which lots of conflicting findings coexist because teachers’ work performances are used as the main source of research data. Based on the big data, this paper proposes different research hypothesis from the traditional researches, takes the detailed data of teacher’s teaching and scientific research behavior recorded in the educational big data system as the research object, adopts the user portrait method to extract the teacher’s teaching and scientific research behavior characteristics, and takes association rule mining algorithm to calculate the correlation between teacher’s teaching and scientific research behavior. The experimental results effectively support the research hypothesis proposed in this paper, and can effectively present the real relationship between teaching and scientific research.
