Location-Allocation Model of Raw Material and Transportation Modes in Cajuput Oil Supply Chain Network (A Case in Indonesia)

Abstract

Cajuput oil is a very promising business in Indonesia due to its high people population and the demand of Cajuput oil cannot be fulfilled by the local industry. To achieve the opportunity, it is necessary to empower the local industry to operate effectively and efficiently. This study observed the cajuput oil supply chain company, to develop a location-allocation model and the transportation modes to minimize the total cost of Cajuput oil supply chain network. The mathematical model is developed using Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) which considers the number and the capacity of transportation modes, the capacity of suppliers and destinations that minimize the total cost and we used IBM® ILOG®CPLEX software for supporting the computation. The supply chain network will operate at minimum cost and the demand can be fulfilled.
