Abstract

Nowadays Indian Health Governance focuses on patient treatment as its key success factors with Hospital administrative and measures the quality of services of a hospital by adopting IT Technology. Health management has brought many enhancements through IT Technology for patient-centric that have a positive impact on the patient experience in hospitals as well as taking administrative decisions based on health indicators. Maharashtra Public Health Department through CDAC Noida developed and run its own e-Sushrut Hospital Management Information System. CDAC’s e-Sushrut HMIS has integrated computerized clinical information system for improved hospital administration management system and patient health management. This paper is introduced adapting Mobile Technology, to design Android-based e-Sushrut Hospital Management information system easy to use and user-friendly. We here propose to develop an application where a patient can book an appointment with the authenticated secure payment process, track health records, download, and view investigation reports as well as Health Indicators which helps hospital administration to take decisions and facilitate the patient in a most efficient manner. The e-Sushrut mobile application is implemented by Java, providing the REST API and Android studio. Server uses JavaEE three-tier architecture.
