Abstract

Based on the structure of the wall, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are of following two types (Balasubramanian and Burghard, Small 1:180–192, 2005; Foldvari and Bagonluri, Nanomed: Nanotechnol Biol Med 4:173–182, 2008a, b). These are Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs).
