Abstract
Shoreline variation analysis and prediction play an important role for integrated coastal zone management. It becomes more pressing in the context of climate change and sea level rise. With more than 134 km, erosion shoreline risks in recent years has affected the Binh Dinh development. The Landsat images in period of 1975 to 2017 are analyzed to provide an overview about the variation of shoreline in Binh Dinh. The result shows that in study period, the Binh Dinh shoreline has fluctuated significantly. Some regions the erosion area reachs to 110 ha per year and some area the extended area reachs to 227 ha per year.
