Abstract
Beam modifying devices are devices which when kept in path of beam produces a desirable modification in the special distribution of the beam. Knowledge about beam modifying devices is very important especially in conventional 2D planning. This chapter describes various beam modifying devices commonly used in radiotherapy planning.
