Radiation Protection Practical Aspects

Practical Radiation Oncology

Abstract

Any practice involving ionizing radiation should be done or allowed when it provides a net positive benefit considering possible harms of radiation exposure. Radiation practice should be so adapted that the radiation doses to the involved can be kept as low as reasonably achievable and doses to the individuals should be kept below the limits. By adopting a proper safety culture, radiation harm can be greatly minimized.
