On the Exploration and Practice of Social Construction in Shenzhen in the Last 30 Years

Abstract

This paper systematically sorts out and summarizes the performance and experience of social construction work in the 30 years since the founding of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, with a focus on the improvement of people’s livelihood, continuous advancement of the reform of the social system and social management innovation, achievement of a good social environment and initial construction of a new model in conformity with Shenzhen’s reality. Finally, the policy suggestions are given in terms of tracking potential risk points and perfecting long-term mechanisms.
