Abstract
A method to evaluate the consistency of battery packs was proposed in this article. With such evaluation, the administrator of the energy storage system could understand the deterioration of the battery packs and remove the abnormal state to avoid the potential failures and extend the battery life. First of all, selecting the indicators of the evaluation which can effectively reflect the consistency. And then calculating the fuzzy relation matrix by applying the fuzzy functions to the operating data from the battery management system (BMS); employing the anti-entropy weight method to obtain the weights of each indicator. Finally, acquiring the consistency grade with the weights and relation matrix. The method is applied to a storage system to verify that the evaluation result is aligned with the real-time observation.
