Inventory Control for Materials Management Functions—A Conceptual Study

Abstract

Inventory control is an important aspect of production system as well as business concern. Materials and inventory control is a priority start-up steps for evaluation of current state of your business. Inventory control plays a vital role in increasing productivity through material management function. In the present study, an attempt has been made to conceptualize and understands the significance of inventory control system in relation to material management function. The study reveals that the effectiveness of inventory control measures leads to better material management function.
