Abstract

The present paper deals with the issues of mathematical simulation of the convertiplane motion with controlled electric drives and tilt rotors (propellers) executed on a quadcopter pattern. The computational scheme has been introduced, and differential equations describing the controlled motion of the vehicle in the vertical longitudinal plane have been derived. Simulations of the convertiplane motion in transient modes have been carried out. It has also been revealed that the main rotors’ deviation in a complex electromechanical system. It has also been found that the main rotors’ deviation in a complex electromechanical system leads to the related oscillations. The range of the controller parameters, in which these oscillations in the transient period subside and the quadcopter restores the equilibrium state, has been determined.
