Abstract
The chapters in the book have discussed various issues concerning women’s work in the present context in India. It is coming out from the analysis that over the years, women have made considerable progress in the labour market, yet many challenges still exist. These challenges require urgent policy attention and steps to boost women’s participation in the world of work. In this concluding chapter, we first summarise some of the key findings. We then discuss the key policy suggestions in the context of employment policy to improve women’s work. The following key issues are emerging from the analysis of the previous chapters.
