Abstract

In the field of electric traction, automatic public addressing system is required to manage the safe and error-free in public addressing, rail signals, and rail gate crossing controlling. This system plays a major role in the development of a traction system. In this conventional system, an operator has to monitor the different parameters of the traction system like train signaling, public addressing, rail gate crossing, etc., which are different for different locomotives. This work makes the whole system automated by using the sensor and microcontroller. With the help of sensors, we can collect the conditions of the parameters as input to the microcontroller and the output of the microcontroller is used to automate the system with the correct measures within a short time.
