Abstract

Gourami (Osphronemusgouramy) is the original fish of Indonesian waters that has spread to Southeast Asia and China. Taxonomically, based on The fish labirinth, it is including the family Osphronemidae. Gourami fish is one of many commodities cultivated by the farmers, this is because the market demand is high enough. This fish is one of well-known consumption fish species and has many demands in Indonesia. This is because Gourami has superiorities, there are good taste of meat, easy maintenance and relatively stable prices. This fish has long been known and has been widely cultivated. To determine the type of gourami seed we used forward chaining method, so we easily know the quality of the seed of the Gourami by using this application.
