Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of the different subjects offered at private universities in Germany. Approximately 2000 degree programs are currently available at private German universities. Business, management, economics, social sciences and law are most popular, but other fields such as health science, psychology, mathematics, computer and natural science, engineering, arts, fashion and design are gaining popularity, especially since these are also often taught entirely in English. This chapter also includes a test to assist students in identifying personal strengths and goals, in order to help them select the most suitable study program. Testimonials give further insights on how to develop solid competencies and gather the necessary experiences during the study program, ensuring professional success and personal fulfilment.
