Abstract

Alterations in the vocal folds, such as cysts, sulcus vocalis, and mucosal bridges, were categorized as congenital anomalies by Bouchayer et al. [4]. These same structural anomalies were described as “minimal structural alterations” by Grigoletto De Biase and Paulo Pontes. The exudative lesions in vocal folds include nodules, polyps, and Reinke’s edema.
