LSB Steganographic Approaches for Hiding Acoustic Data in Video by Using Chaotic and XORing Technique

Abstract

Maintaining secrecy of data in the digital media is much of the worked domain and requires more of it in the present. Steganography provides the secrecy provision by hiding the different types of into some of the cover objects available. This paper proposed two schemes of video steganography for hiding a secret audio into a cover video file by embedding audio bits into the extracted frames of the video through LSB embedding technique. Embedding techniques mentioned are namely sequential and random audio bits embedding. The security of the secret data is incorporated by the concept of chaotic sequence and XORing bit patterns before embedding the audio bits into the frames. The main aim of the two techniques proposed is to find out the suitable technique that fits into the required scaling of parameters for a good steganographic technique.
