Abstract

A similar list of concerns kept being repeated when engaging with the three case studies and reviewing the research and literature of For-Purpose organisations. Collating these concerns, we were able to group the concerns into what we are calling the Six Fundraisers’ Dilemmas. These Dilemmas became a set of touchpoints that we refer to throughout the book. This allows us to explain how the models we put forward can be used by those working in the industry to be more effective in achieving their purpose. The belief is that by solving the Six Fundraisers’ Dilemmas we are giving the people working in For-Purpose organisations hope for a more effective approach.
