Layout Design of X-Band Low Noise Amplifier for Radar Applications

This paper presents a x-band low noise amplifier design using different transistor, biasing, technology and matching network. The design of the front end low noise amplifier is one of the challenges in radio frequency receivers, which needs to maintain good impedance match, enough power gain and low noise figure within the required band. The key parameters are such as input return loss \( (S_{11} ) \), output return loss \( (S_{22} ) \), gain \( (S_{21} ) \) and noise figure are simulated by using ‘Advanced Design System (ADS)’ and results are shown.
