Abstract
Although considered to be one of the commonest primary benign tumours of the orbit, orbital schwannomas are relatively rare. Their onset is insidious, and it grows very slowly causing minimal effect on the surrounding structures. It is a tumour that occurs typically in adults and presents as proptosis.
