Abstract
Developing an underwater real-time three-dimensional (3-D) acoustical imaging system is complex. Only knowing the key techniques: fast beamforming (Chap. 3) and two-dimensional (2-D) array design (Chap. 4) is not enough. The structure of underwater real-time 3-D acoustical imaging systems is introduced in this chapter. The steps of designing an underwater real-time 3-D system are provided.
