Abstract
This chapter mainly introduces the methods and principles of EMC evaluation and quality control during system development. The goal of EMC evaluation is to check whether the EMC performance of equipment and subsystems meets the requirement of each milestone during development [70–73]. The evaluation items include the EMC performance of the equipment, EMC performance of the subsystem based on the EMC performance of its consisting equipment, and the EMC performance of the system based on the EMC performance of its consisting equipment and subsystems. The goal of EMC quality control is to propose control requirements for equipment, subsystems, and systems to ensure that based on the evaluation of EMC performance of the equipment, subsystems, and systems at each milestone of the development phase, any deviation will be corrected and any problem will be solved in a timely manner [74].
