Abstract

The system capacity degrades because of fading in the wireless channels. The channel capacity expressions for Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) diversity receiver over One-Wave Diffused Power (OWDP) fading channels are presented in this paper considering an arbitrary number of diversity branches. OWDP fading channel models have multiple diffused components and one specular component. To calculate the channel capacities, Probability Density Function (pdf) is employed for numerous adaptive transmission methods. Also, the comparison is done among the capacities of numerous adaptive transmission methods.
