Abstract

This chapter describes the background and research design of the study. First, the research background information introduces the initiatives of the educational reform and national INSET project as well as the INSET course involved in the study. Then, the rationale of the research questions are explained, and relevant aspects of the study design are listed, including research participants, research methods and data collection.
