Abstract
In the appendices to “Dry Zones”, some of the key legislative changes to liquor licensing and planning in Victoria referred to within the book are listed or summarized in table form. The appendices tabulate known results (and legal challenges) to local option polls on licensing in Victoria over 1886–1906; the results of the 1920 local option poll by licensing districts; corresponding 1921 Census characteristics; a timeline of residential amenity and zoning controls on licensed premises in Victoria for indicative years (1850s to 2018); and a timeline of objection rights and neighbourhood rights against licensed premises in Victoria for indicative years (1850s to 2018).
