Abstract
This chapter articulates the knowledge creation process of Lesson Study from the perspective of knowledge management (KM). It begins by explaining the concepts of knowledge management in the school context, including KM initiatives, the nature of knowledge and knowledge strategies. It then goes on to describe the role of communities of practice in creating and managing knowledge in Lesson Study.
