Abstract

In computer vision system, recognition of head gesture is challenging task of research. The recognition of head gesture system is mainly used for the purpose of recognizing the head gestures of the peoples having no limb movements due to the diseases like Parkinson. The head gesture based interface includes the detection of user’s face in real time condition and tracking the user’s faces and recognition of user’s head gestures. Different methods for detection of face, face tracking, and gesture recognition are discussed in this paper. The recognition of the gestures means to identify the meaningful expressions of the motion by the human, which involves the human body parts.
